A conceptual model of people’s vulnerability to floods

This page contains a program to implement the method described in the paper “A conceptual model of people’s vulnerability to floods”, authored by Luca Milanesi, Marco Pilotti and Roberto Ranzi and published in Water Resources Resources, 2015.
In order to make easier the application of the proposed algorithm, the risk_mapper program can be downloaded. The use of the program is straightforward and is described within the readme.txt file. The use of the program is free for scientific  and technical purposes, under the condition that the source paper is cited. As clearly stated in the disclaimer, we assume no responsability for any consequence of use of the code. On the other hand, we would be grateful to any suggestion that might improve the code

Finally, the following file contains data related to people stability in a flow computed from the videos mentioned in the paper “Using web-based observations to identify thresholds of a person’s stability in a flow”, authored by Luca Milanesi, Marco Pilotti and Baldassare Bacchi and currently submitted for possible publication in Water Resources Resources, 2016. The use of the data is free for scientific purposes, under the condition that the source paper is cited.
